GROWTH AND OPTICAL CHARACTERIZATION OF ANTIMONY SELENIDE (Sb2Se3) THIN FILM USING CHEMICAL BATH DEPOSITION TECHNIQUE

The work presents chemically bath deposited Sb2Se3 thin film and the optical characterization. The optical properties studied in this work are the absorbance, transmittance and reflectance. The solid state properties such as refractive index dielectric constant the extinction co-efficient and energy band gap were also studied. The graphs of these properties were plotted as a function of wavelength and in some cases as a function of photon energy. XRD was used in showing the X-ray diffract ion pattern of the film. The external morphology of the film was also obtained.
